Delete Your BoldSpeak Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your BoldSpeak account and associated personal data.

1. How to Request Deletion

  1. Open the BoldSpeak app and go to Profile -> Account -> Delete Account.
  2. Tap Delete Account and confirm the action.
  3. If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@boldspeak.app from the email address linked to your account with subject Account Deletion Request.

2. What We Delete

  • Account profile data (for example name and login identity).
  • Practice records, transcripts, and feedback history.
  • Uploaded or recorded speaking media associated to your user.
  • App activity records tied directly to your account.

3. What May Be Retained and Why

We may retain limited records when required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, or security investigations.

4. Retention Periods

  • Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification.
  • Backup and system logs may persist for up to 90 days before automatic overwrite.
  • Records kept for legal or security reasons are retained only as long as necessary for those purposes.
